Library

Welcome to our library, the inevitable result of a couple with far too many books and a husband who cannot resist turning every hobby into a software project. At some point the shelves were full, the stacks were growing, and the simple question “Do we already own this one?” began to require archaeological methods. So naturally the only reasonable solution was to build my own book collection and library system because why not.

The result is VoluminaX, my homegrown library manager. It keeps track of thousands of titles, supports authors, series, categories, metadata, covers, reading status, and even custom notes. It imports from ISBN databases, generates clean book detail pages, and lets you filter and search through the chaos with ease. It is still evolving, part tool, part experiment, and part excuse to spend more time with the books we love.

Here you will find the growing catalogue of our ever expanding shelves, lovingly documented, digitised, and occasionally overengineered. It is part library, part lifelong project, and part proof that there is no such thing as too many books, only too few tools to keep track of them.
